Crystal Cove Promenade just opened Coastal Cool, a designer boutique for contemporary women who are looking for  hot trends that are both casual and sophisticated.

Owner Debbie Davimes hand selects stylish apparel such as Chan Luu ready-to-wear, Johnny Was, Kain Label, Seaton, Bailey 44, premium denim (including AG and Paige), and accessories from Paris.

Coastal Cool takes the honor of being the first Orange County boutique to carry Ipanema designer flip-flops created by  supermodel Gisele Bündchen. The flip-flops are ultra comfortable, plus they’re made of a patented flexible plastic, available in fashion fave colors. 

Open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Harmony for Life!

Longtime dance and fitness instructor Joyce Goodman just opened Harmony for Life Wellness Center in Costa Mesa. It’s a center dedicated to helping people live their life to the fullest through fitness and free seminars on health education.

Take advantage of free fitness assessments, sign up for lifestyle/health coaching or personal fitness training, or take fitness classes for adults to children in all fitness levels.

Choose from group fitness classes that feature music-driven ball dancing/bouncerobics designed to burn fat and get you in better health; family classes so that you can bounce and get fit with the entire family; and classes for children of all ages. 

Classes cost $15, or save by purchasing a 10-class punch card for $120 (one free class); or 20-class punch cars for $240 (four free classes). Monthly memberships are available that includes the use of Universal gym equipment, weights and coming soon, an Aqua Massage table that gives a heavenly full body acupressure water massage as you  lay dry and fully clothed.
